Led by Dave McLean

Laugh, love, listen, and learn with us for eight Wednesdays, Jan.9 – Feb. 26, as we share our stories and the true life experiences in the Voices of Aging: Adult Children and Aging Parents Talk With God by Missy Buchanan (Upper Room Books). Laugh and learn (weep, as you might) as we share and step into the minds of generational thoughts, prayers, and celebrations of various ages. Through scripture lesson, meditations, and expressed concerns to God, we will move forward together. “O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs,  O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might and your power to
all the generations to come.” Psalm 71:17-18 (NRSV).

WOMEN'S GROUPS

All Things New by Kelly Minter, Thee Coffee Shop, 6-7:15 p.m.
Led by Lee Autrey & Kimberly Ray

The city of ancient Corinth was much like our own modern-day cities: a melting pot of electrifying cultural experiences to be had, along with the myriad pitfalls of      spiritual depravity. Still, Paul wrote to the Church of God in Corinth - meaning God's Church is meant to thrive in any city and every circumstance in which we find       ourselves. Paul's letter is as timely as ever. Over 8 sessions, Kelly Minter will lead you through the Letter of 2 Corinthians, exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come.
