(all groups meet from 6-7:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted)

Unshakable Hope by Max Lucado

Led by Rev. Don Abrams, Bldg A Room A136

In this 12-week study, pastor Max Lucado reveals how the heroes in the Bible came from all walks of life. They were rulers, servants, teachers, doctors. They were male, female, single, married. Yet one common denominator united them: they all put their faith in God's promises. When we choose to be people of the promise, we choose to build our lives on promises of God not the circumstances of life. It is through the great and precious promises that we participate in the divine nature of God.

Irresistible by And Stanley

Led by Dr. Dave McLean & Dr. Stan Rittgers, Bldg A, Room A130

The Book of Proverbs

Led by Nancy Attebury, Bldg A, Room 138

This group will be studying the Old Testament Book of Proverbs each week, using various study aids and commentaries.

Women's Bible Study, Love Does by Bob Goff

Led by Lee Autrey, Bldg B, Thee Coffee Shop, Room 208

Bob Goff has become something of a legend, and his friends consider him the world's best-kept secret. Those same friends have long insisted he write a book. What follows are paradigm shifts, musings, and stories from one of the world’s most delightfully engaging and winsome people. What fuels his impact? Love. But it's not the kind of love that stops at thoughts and feelings. Bob's love takes action. Bob believes Love Does. When Love Does, life gets interesting. Each day turns into a hilarious, whimsical, meaningful chance that makes faith simple and real. Each chapter is a story that forms a book, a life. And this is one life you don't want to miss. Light and fun, unique and profound, the lessons drawn from Bob's life and attitude just might inspire you to be secretly incredible, too.

Encounter the Spirit by Carolyn Moore (continued from Fall semester)
Led by Pat Wiley,  Bldg A, Fellowship Hall

The Holy Spirit is our inheritance as followers of Jesus. To access the power and fullness of this gift, however, is a choice. What if you could tap into that power? What if you could walk in confidence and pray with authority? Wouldn't you like to know how to hear the voice of God and how to read the Bible so it becomes a Living Word for you? Wouldn't you benefit from a deeper, more intimate connection with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Encounter the Spirit is a seven-week small group guidebook aimed at helping you discover the treasure of a deep relationship with God, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
