Encounter the Spirit, by Carolyn Moore, led by Janie MacBeth

The Holy Spirit is our inheritance as followers of Jesus. To access the power and fullness of this gift, however, is a choice. What if you could tap into that power? What if you could walk in confidence and pray with authority? Wouldn't you like to know how to hear the voice of God and how to read the Bible so it becomes a Living Word for you? Wouldn't you benefit from a deeper, more intimate connection with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Encounter the Spirit is a seven-week small group guidebook aimed at helping you discover the treasure of a deep relationship with God, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture and the Wesleyan Way
Led by Dave McLean, Bldg A, Room A130

Bible study was central to John Wesley's faith and the Christian movement he founded, Methodists. In Scripture and the Wesleyan Way, we will see the methodology John Wesley applied for teaching and doctrine. Wesley’s theological and scholarly approach, (The Quadrilateral reflections of; 1. Scripture, 2. Tradition, 3. Reason, 4. Experience) is the Methodist way to study the Bible and live the Christian life. In this Bible study, we will be using the Bible, the words of Jesus and John Wesley's own words.
